چکیده
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging algorithm for the moving targets with some motion irregularities are investigated. For accurate SAR imaging of the moving targets, position and the velocity of the object according to the radar platform must be known accurately. To calculate the instantaneous range and velocity of the object, local radar platform with one transmitter-two receiver (OT-TR) is considered. After the range-bin alignment of the returned signal in each receiver, target's angular position and velocity can be determined by using the phase difference of the receivers. Motion effect free SAR images of moving targets can only be achieved by doing the phase compensation which uses the target's location, direction and speed along the aperture. In this paper, the formulation for rejection of motion irregularities in SAR images is presented and some computer simulations are given.

Bistatic SAR processing using Non-Linear Chirp Scaling
Non-Linear Chirp Scaling is an innovative way to focus bistatic SAR images and has been demonstrated to work on the configuration where the receiver is stationary and the transmitter imaging on broadside. This paper improves and extends the method to the configuration where both the receiver and the transmitter are imaging at a squint angle and moving in a parallel track with the same velocity....
متن کاملOptimal Baseline Design and Error Compensation for Bistatic Spaceborne InSAR
s: Bistatic SAR systems as opposed to monostatic SAR offer some degrees of freedom in choosing transmitter and receiver separately. In this paper, the spatial baseline in bistatic spaceborne InSAR and the requirements of optimal baseline are analyzed in many aspects. An equation to determine the optimal spatial baseline is derived, and one method to estimate and correct the baseline error cause...
متن کاملMoving Target Detection on SAR Images
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a well known technique for generating high-resolution images stationary scenes but it is not adapted to imaging moving targets as the movement of a target induces both a delocalization and a defocusing effect in a SAR image. The aim of this paper is to analyse the signatures of moving targets in SAR images and to present techniques to detect them, from one sing...
متن کاملError Analysis of Velocity Estimation via Bistatic Along Track InSAR
Bistatic SAR uses separated transmitted and receiver flying on different platforms. Such a spatial separation has several operational advantages in military applications the vulnerability of the system is reduced, because the transmitter can be positioned far away, while the passive receiver is difficult to locate. The bistatic along track interferometric SAR (AT−InSAR) model is one kind of bis...
متن کاملAnalysis and Focusing for Bistatic Forward-looking Sar in Spaceborne/stationary Configuration
The conventional monostatic SAR shows a limitation of achieving a high azimuth (angular) resolution if a forward-looking geometry is used [1]-[2]. One problem of the forward-looking configuration is that the differences in the Doppler frequencies of adjacent terrain points in the along-track direction are much smaller than the differences in the Doppler frequencies of adjacent terrain points in...
